an interesting little tid bit from Romney's withdrawal speech today. anyone else confused?

America is unique in the history of the world. In the history of the world, whenever there has been conflict, the nation that wins takes land from the nation that loses. One nation in history, and this during the last century, laid down hundreds of thousands of lives and took no land. No land from Germany, no land from Japan, no land from Korea. America is unique in the sacrifice it has made for liberty, for itself and for freedom loving people around the world.” The best ally peace has ever known, and will ever know, is a strong America!"

Silly Elaine. The Indians GAVE us their land in exchange for beads. They wanted us to live here, and they really like their reservations, too. I mean, we even let them own casinos. And Matt says they do a lot of drugs, so they must be happy.

it is actually correct to put apostrophes in present progressive nouns such as "care"

There's no reason to be confussed. America is the greatest superpower ever as well as the most benevolent. Sure we did not take land in the wars we have fought. Political and economic motives don't count, only land. No land equals complete benevolence and the right for infinite superpower status!!
